Final Preparations for the Fall Term

There is plenty of excitement and a bit of trepidation in the air as we head toward the start of classes in September. The Rotman Digital Office continues to meet with faculty each day consulting on a wide range of topics including course design, Quercus setup, video creation, and synchronous class delivery. If ever you have feedback or questions or would like to schedule and appointment, please contact us at

Teaching Rooms at 105 St. George

Our IT team have now completed the installation of recording and teaching studios in seven study rooms on the third floor at 105 St. George St. These rooms have the recommended hardware (webcam, writable surface computer, 2 screens, etc) and software (Office 365, Adobe, Camtasia, Snag-it, MS teams, BBC) to allow you to either record asynchronous videos or to deliver synchronous teaching with access to fast and reliable hard-wired internet access. You will need to bring your own USB headset. You can book these rooms by emailing and indicate “Temporary Teaching Group Study Room” in the subject. Be sure you test the room in advance of your first session.

Quercus OneDrive Integration

The new Microsoft Office 365 OneDrive integration allows students and instructors to use, create, share, and collaborate on Office 365 OneDrive files within Quercus. This integration is available in Course Navigation, Assignments, the Rich Content Editor, Modules, and Collaborations. For more information on using OneDrive in Quercus, click here
