In this edition we are sharing the links to two upcoming lunch-and-learn webinars hosted by Rotman Digital's Instructional Designer, Ivan Chow. Tomorrow's webinar is focused on Universal  Design of Learning. Next week's examines how best to building a Community of Inquiry in online courses (August 26th). There's no need to register; simply join using the links below.

As you may be aware, the University close to announcing a new webinar tool to replace Blackboard Collaborate. I can confirm that our current solutions, MS Teams Video, MS LiveEvents, and Zoom Education, will continue to be available for classes this Fall. As part of the RFP process, which the University hopes to complete soon, additional functionality and services may be added to the mix. Please stay tuned for further announcements.

Reminder: Blackboard Collaborate will be decommissioned on August 31st 2021. Please download any important BBC recordings before this date.

Upcoming Rotman Digital Webinars

Teaching with Zoom

Zoom licenses have been available to the University community since September of 2020. If you haven't yet claimed a license, or need direction on how to teach effectively using Zoom, please take a look at this document. You are also welcome to schedule time with Rotman DIgital staff who will give an overview of Zoom's functionality and answer questions about your particular use cases.
